In short
- Where and when: Colombia, July 2024.
- Taught by Dr. Daniel Flash, founder of Sensory Energetics.
- Learned through experience: the nervous system, natural tremors, body awareness and partner work.
- Next steps: the 2026 calendar, the online Self-Ignition Programme, or a local practitioner.
The seminar in Colombia
A recurring theme of the Colombia seminar was the gap between knowing about the body and feeling it. Kyusho, as Dr. Daniel teaches it, is not only a set of martial techniques; it is detailed knowledge of anatomy and of how the body responds to precise contact.
Sensory Energetics is not learned by reading about the body. It is learned by feeling it.
What a Sensory Energetics seminar covers
Every seminar is built around direct experience. Participants learn in demonstrations, in pairs and in the group:
- Sensory awareness: noticing breath, tension and subtle sensations, and how the nervous system responds.
- Neurogenic tremors: waking up the body's own reflex to discharge stress, and guiding it safely.
- Vital points and breath: precise contact rooted in Kyusho, with simple breathing to regulate energy.
- Contact and contactless work: partner techniques for releasing tension and supporting balance.
- Self-practice: tools to keep using at home after the weekend.
